How do I remove Mods from Skyrim

A few months ago I completed Skyrim (after over 300 hours!). After finishing I decided to sample a few of the mods that Steam had on offer. All went well to start with, then after adding another, I found that the game started crashing. The opening menu will load up, but at the moment where you would enter the game it just shuts itself off.

I have just upgraded my PC and wanted to see what Skyrim was like with it, so if anyone can let me know how to remove all the mods (happy to lose saved game), I would be grateful.

usually you would remove the data folder I believe. Tbh, if you're not bothered about losing saves, just do a full reinstall. If you don't have the disc lying around, tell steam to backup the install files then just reinstall.

I did a full install, as the new PC was a completely new build. When it loaded up from Steam is automatically loaded up the Mods I had downloaded.

If they are steam workshop mods, you need to unsubscribe from them.
