Hey there. It's revision time for me at uni and I was just wondering (considering how many IT professionsals with irregular hours, students and geeks that are part of this community)........

.....what is the best method to reset sleeping patterns from a student, going to sleep at 03:00 and waking up at 12:00, to going to sleep at 23:00 and waking up at 08:00?

Much appreciated. :p

Been asked many a time and it's been found that the best way to do it is to stay up all night and then all through the next day. That way you'll be absolutely spanked by 2200 and you'll reset to proper hours.

Certainly works for me!

Yep, that's usually what I end up doing during revision periods / holidays. (latter is the better phrase for describing how much work I do)

Ok, I've got 8 red bulls to last me through the next 20 hours then. I'm pulling an all nighter, hopefully by the end of the week I'll rejoin the land of the normal people. :p

I'm currently at the stage of going to bed at 4/5am and getting up at 11:30am. Just go to bed at the 4/5am and get up at say 9am. Works everytime for me and I'm tired come 11pm.
