I have some high resolution pictures that I want to resize to fit on a printout that's 125mmx65mm.

Essentially I want to shrink the picture and crop it down to that size, Can I do this without photoshop? I am running osx.

Thanks.

Is this on a Windows machine? If you have Office, you can do this with Office Picture Manager.

Probably won't be as good a quality as Photoshop/GIMP, but it might suit your needs?

Edit: A bit more involved alternative is to use the Command Line and ImageMagick - this link gives an idea of how to resize a source image.

You could probably create a script to do this regularly if required.

Haha I'll blame it on it being Monday!

In that case, OP can use Preview. Under the Tools menu, choose Adjust Size.

Have a look at Automator too - you can create a workflow to do this automatically.

Also, ImageMagick point still applies as there's an OS X binary for it.
