How do I reverse call charge someone from a mobile? (yes I know, dumb...)

As per title really.

I have never done this before and so have no clue how to reverse charge call someone from a mobile phone. I wish to call a landline. Please can someone type the number in an example format. Thank you very much.

dial 999 and see if they'll patch you though.

also works if you have almost zero reception and it says "emergency calls only"

Ok so what number do I dial before the landlines number? Please can I have serious answer, like I said I have never done this before (never had the need to) and so this is a new service to me.

Edit: Just tried 0800 reverse thing and the number I am trying to call is not available on their service or somehting. Is there another service I can use? I'm on Vodafone is it matters.
