how do i tell if i have a routed device?

I've just bought a second hand nexus 7 and just wanted to know if it is rooted and whether it is running official software?....

...is there anyway to tell?

Rooting doesn't remove official software but installing a custom ROM does.

Go to your about screen and post a screen shot here.

You take a screenshot by pressing the volume down and power button at once.

If it has a custom rom it can look the same as the stock rom. I'm on a custom rom but it's the same as stock. I can't even tell the difference from stock and i've been rooting and using custom rom.s for a few year now.

So is there any way to check whether it has 100% original Google software on it?

I'd probably flash a stock firmware just for the sake of it. Would remove root, cerberus and the current (possibly custom) rom.

Not sure how you'd do it on the Nexus 7 though! I only know of Odin for samsungs!

With fastboot and the factory image from Google. Dead easy.

Mine will not go back to stock. Flashed it 6 times used 3 different tool kits and each time it still has root. Just give up and flashed another custom rom lol.

Spend around 6 hours googleing and flashing nothing seemed to work. Yet everyone else just flashes stock rom and it works.

Can anyone confirm that the download for fastboot here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1917237 has not been tampered with...on limited data connection so can't download the whole sdk!

Via MD5 or something.

Go to settings>apps and look for Cerberus or "system framework" (hidden name for it), if it is there you will be unable to make any changes to it.
