Ive just got a 20gb hdd from my sister from a Pc they hadnt used for a while, when it was connected to her computer it had two user accounts on it. Her daughters account had a password which she cant remember, but has now decided she wants certain files from it (kids !). Ive connected it to my PC as a second drive and can access the non-password account files but obviously i cant access the files from the account with the forgotten password. The question is how do i access the locked account and retrieve the information she wants ? Does this make sense ???? I tried connecting it as my main Hdd but i got an error on a blue screen - i cant remember exactly what it said, sorry. Something about if this is the first time youve seen this message then just reboot and basically hope you dont get it after youve done that.
