hi all,
im thinking of putting a ssd in to my vaio.
can this be done, and what cable do i need to clone the 2 drives please.

Yep, you will need a pc with enough spare ports that can copy your current drive to the new SSD or get a cheap caddy and put the SSD in there temporary.

Macrium reflect is free and will image your drive.

i think something like this if you want to do it with the SSD connected externally

or if using internally you would need another sata cable and sata power cable from the PSU
