It's amazing to me that so many of you can pickup a gamesave weeks or months after stopping for a bit. For me I'll have forgotten the plot and characters and almost obsessively have to restart the game, play it for 30 minutes and realise how much time it would take to get back to where I left off and put it down again.
But then, I usually finish a game in the first few days after buying it anyway, and leave it for a month or two to play again
Although lately I've been qite bad for finishing games. For example right now I have Hegemony Gold, Civ 5, Morrowind, Mount & Blade, Deus Ex HR + Original, C&C RA3, Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, Rage and AOE online installed on my computer. Hegemony Gold I stopped playing after an hour, Civ 5 I havent played since reinstalling it, Mount & Blade I started a new game with a mod for a few days until Rage came along (which ive completed, one of only two that I have). Deus Ex 1 is still in progress and I havent been on in a while, Morrowind I spent weeks on and stopped when a new game took my fancy. And AOE Online I stopped playing a few days after buying premium ><
I suppose the moral of that paragraph there is that being spoiled for choice can be a really bad thing if you're indecisive, impatient and a fan of multiple game genres
