How do you actually speak to someone at Hermes?

I called the number on their website, 0330 808 5456, it just tells me to go to the contact page on their website.

The contact page on their website tells you to call them or use the chat function. After using the chat function on their website, which is automated, it tells me to download their app. I don't have a smartphone.

Is there a way to actually speak to someone?

I tried and failed previously to speak with an actual person. I think in the end I had to message them on Twitter because their online chat wasn't even working. If you have that, or Facebook might be worth trying on there?

OK, I'll have to try social media. Thanks a lot for that.

@LiE yes, have another look at the OP.

You don’t have a smartphone? Get with the times

It's a personal choice, my friend. It can be a handicap at times like this, but I'm not going to get one just because I can't download something like a parcel delivery app.

I had this issue before with a claim about a year ago, after a few days trying the only way I found to get through to a person was to use the "international deliveries" option on their IVR if I remember rightly. This connects you to a UK office. The guy I got was actually rather helpful much to my surprise.

Great info, thank you very much.

Much to my surprise though, apparently the item has deliveried.
