hey again
this will probably sound dodgy, so bear with me. ;
i recently found a copy of need for speed carbon (for the ps2) tucked away under my bed. (it used to be one of my favourite games) . unfortunately, the disk is quite scratched (not too deeply) so it takes ageeeeees to load, however it is readable.
somehow i was able to copy and paste the files direcly off the disks to my pc (about 3.5 gig's worth of data) without converting any files, or experiencing any errors.
i want to burn it onto a new CD/DVD, but i don't want to risk wasting one (large ones are quite expensive).
i tried alternative backup methods, like swapmagic -- with no success, so i ruled them out. i don't want to chip my PS2 either.
i'm using a slim PS2 right now.
thanks, if you need more info, just contact me. thanks
