As title says.

Having lost a raid-0 once before I create another one I want to have the ability to back it up.

What do YOU use?

Acronis True Image.

I use the free version via Seagate*DiscWizard cause I have a seagate external. My raid drives are seagate too, but DiscWizard won't recognise them as seagate in raid.

The full disk image backup in vista/windows 7 is pretty sufficient for disk images. Like some of the other newer disk imaging software it uses shadow copies of open files so it can image the disk without restarting the pc.

I use Acronis to create images of my RAID-0 array for different builds. Works perfectly. Create the new RAID-0 array then restore to it. Whatever imaging tool you use will have to support your RAID controller. If you restore to a RAID-0 of a different (bigger) size you may have to extend the volume afterwards.
