How do you check to see if CPU is overclocked?

I suspect the system has lost its settings, if you pop into the BIOS, press F12 there should be a saved profile and there should be a Ocuk Overclocked profile, load this and you should be good to go.

Serious, that's it?

How did it lose it's settings though? Will it screw up my os, files etc?

Overclocks can do strange things, mine has done this in the past, turn it on throws a wobbler, redo the overclock and good to go.

Was the system bought with windows already loaded?

Yep it was all built, all good to go. Just had to switch it on.

I knew there must be a simple way! Should have looked at the manual more closely :P

You be fine, when in the BIOS front page you will see in the lower corner - F12 - Load CMOS from BIOS :)

(Reason why I asked is there is a option to set ACHI, if you enable this when windows was installed in IDE mode you will get BSOD, but as Ocuk turn this on as default and Windows was pre loaded you be ok)

Just done it, saw the bios loaded it and it's worked. My CPU-Z is showing 4.6mhz.

Now onto my next question.

Does having my cpu overclocked, screw it any way? Like, when I'll game i'll play for 4-7 hours. Should I limit my play? Or can I just play away?

Excellent :)

Just play away, as the cpu is within its voltage and temperature limits you be fine.

Aslong as i don't change any settings and just game away, it wont do that right?

Sorry PC newb.

Indeed, it will stay at pretty much what you see, it my change slightly but don't panic, i.e. 1.370 or may even drop a little :)
