Hello

Well. I use to clean mine with the cloth provided, until my mum used a wet cloth and now i have streaks across it!!!

Any idea how to get rid of them?

Same here mate. I would also like to know how to get rid of said marks.

Im guessing some kind of wet and dry cleaning cloths ?

I use two lint free cloths, one moist/damp with a VERY small drop of washing up liquid, which I use to remove finger prints, dust, grime, etc. The second cloth is also moistened with clean water to remove any traces of the washing up liquid. Sometimes I have to use a third cloth if theres still smear marks present. I find its best to use this method when the screen has been turned off for a while so its cold, this stops the water from drying too quickly and leaving heavy smearing.
Alternatively, you could buy one of those proper screen cleaners.:)

I would strongly suggest against washing up liquid, it's too abrasive. It designed to clean chip fat off of plates not dust off of a soft LCD.

Isopropryl alcohol and water (50/50 mix) on a damp lint-free, microfibre or similar cloth usually works fine.

I love my Sagem 32" LCD.. Its got a Glass Screen over the LCD screen... Sooo easy to clean with 'Mr Sheen' and a Soft Duster (just the same as a CRT)..

The glass would have a special coating to reduce reflection, I would be careful on how much Mr Sheen you spray on it.

I Don't spray it on the screen!... Spray it on the Duster (very sparingly), carefully wipe the screen.. then re-fold the duster to a dry bit and gently polish!..

suprised more TV's don't have a glass cover on them, had to clean my LCD the other day as it was really gunked up. Just a damp cloth, still got a few marks but didn't want to damage the screen

I've only had to clean the screen twice in the 4 years I've had the TV... I don't think the small amount of Mr Sheen (Mr Sheen Glass Cleaner to be precise) would 'Strip' any coatings off the glass!.. :p

I normally just soak it in the bath for a few hours :)

Won't the TV stop working if you do that???.. (:D)

Not if you seal said tv in a clear plastic bag before dunking :D

I use the provided lint free cloth. Or just use a cloth that comes with a pair of glass, same thing.

I find wire wool is the easier way. It gets rid of ALL heavy scratches.

Im currently using a Philex cleaner i got from Asda on Whooops. Came with a microfibre cloth.
