The reason why you get interesting manufacture dates is becuase the system cannot narrow the date down for cars registered before September 2001. So, you just get 31st December of the year it was registered, irrespective of the actual date of registration.

It isn't a date of manufacture either, it's date of registration. Shows mine as being built late December 01, which it wasn't, thats when it was registered.

OMG that means my car is like... half a decade old now :eek:
