How do you get into modelling?

ok everyone is kinda soft footing around the issue but not really having the balls to say something: Here's MY OPINION:

Phantom, you are not an ugly bloke, at all - BUT you do not have the look to be a model. That's what the other guys are trying to say. I just can't see you being a model that is all... doesn't mean you are ugly, but just not model material!

However, that is only my opinion, but from the look of other posts it may be others opinion too...

Yes, if your willing to work very hard to get shoots, the market is full of very good, very unknown models. I do it cause i like getting good pics and building my portfolio.

Yes, i have experience.

Oh come on, you're clearly started this thread for a bit of attention. I hope one of two things happen:

a) it gets closed
b) you get photoshopped many times over the next 25 pages.

ok here is a quite random assortment of pics of me, when the wifey saw me in Starbucks I probably looked most like the first one, the last one is quite old and the 3rd one is just before a gig with my Power Metal band lol...




I'm not claiming to be amazing looking, but this random woman must have thought I suited whatever job she was trying to fill...

You have to have a reputation before it can be destroyed (I'm not talking about OcUK) ... quality thread. Like others have said, you are not ugly ... but you are also not what I think of when I hear model.

'tis a great big fat wind up though ... if not then hopefully we'll see you on something like x factor next year?

You have good bone structure. That's usually the most important thing. You sometimes get people who are gorgeous in the flesh, but in photos they look rubbish and hence why a lot of models look crap in real life. Down to bone structure and the way light bounces off the face.
