How do you get your enjoyment in life?

Having a laugh with my friends...

Plus making new friends...

You could have all the money in the world and access to every passtime going... but without anyone to enjoy it with (whether it's with good mates or a significant other) it's all rather soul-less.

Been thinking of taking this up, don't know if there's many suitible places around Bristol? and I can't believe how expensive the bikes are, one of my mates recommended 'orange', but there base model was over £500
Try the mendips... there are some downhill bits there that are steeper than 45 degrees :)

Oh, and you can pick up a brand new GT for less than £300, with ample spec.

Try skiing, it is really fun, and if you haven't done it before, you will see massive improvements in your first season; it is very rewarding.

Other than skiing, I would probably suggest sailing. Sailing is usually complex, one has to learn about all the different sail settings, etc., but if you get to a sailing club that will either offer lessons in crewing on a catamaran, or has a catamaran team who needs someone to crew then it can be very exciting. Once you get a good sailing team in a catamaran, with a force 4 wind behind you, it can get pretty fun; especially if you are out on the trapeze.

Yep Skiing, nothing bettter than having got to the bottom of a really hard run, being knackered and realising that most people wont be able to get down the same one. And then the sheer speed as you go as fast as you can down a clear, smooth run without being wrapped up in bubblewrap like most other things. :)

Have a go at powerboating, exhilerating too when there is a big swell and some nice waves.

You get an adrenaline rush from steak?

Ah crap, there goes me just reading the thread title and not the OP :p And I caught a glimpse of 'good food' somewhere in the thread. And I'm hungry.

Chatting up new women.
Seeing a Fit Bird/women/lady.
Hitting 3rd on a 600 plus bike.
That moment when you think you are not going to stop in time.
Scraping the pegs.
Getting Colonel on BF2 :p
Fighting with my Dog.
Fighting, generally.
Watching Boxing or any of the new cage style fights or cross training fights.

Best of all though is Holding my Grandson.
Watching England with my Alfie asleep in my arms matched any Buzz above.

Dinghy sailing. Close to the water and quite exhilerating when hanging out the side about to capsize.
Only tried cats once.. would be good to do it again.

Woooo I'm going skiing for the first time in January!!! I hope it's as good a rush as you make out :D

Gokarting.

I used to love karting, then I went on a racing scholarship day. This, was > *

NOTHING will beat coming onto the main straight in a single seater, and just planting the throttle with the tail twitching in driving rain, fighting to keep the car in a straight line flicking it into 4th, then standing on the brakes and flicking it into the 2nd gear right hander..... No doubt I wasnt good enough as I didnt get through to the next round, but my god it was fun !
