How do you jump start a PSU?

I'm thinking of getting a second PSU to power up "bits and pieces" and was wondering how you "jump start" a PSU - and if it is at all advisable!

do you meen running two PSUs?
OcUK used to do an adapter for the Juno P3 systems that had a relay wich took a jump from the 4 pin molex to the ATX connecter.

Its basically adding a switch to 2 points on the adapter which act as the turn on button on your case.

If you connect the green wire with a black one on the ATX power connector the PSU will power up.
