Going back to my Packard bell, I made couple topics in correct sections basically implying my computer meant to support 4gb memory according to the model, but according to the board it only supports 2gb?
I have established I can't get a 2gb stick to work on its own more so if it's faster than stated not any fast ram without a slower stick installed, but what I would like to know is how would it be possible to find out of it still jade the original board????
Any info on the board is lacking(it's a gigabyte designed for Packard) and searching the model of tower is questionable. It's a imedia mc 1539, but to me I don't think the board was for this version, I just can't tell.
Edit: actually now I think about it, the board has ati graphics chip, but the case has a sticker for nvidia on the front.
