I like a good BBQ.

I would like to visit Texas one day and hit all of the smokehouses there. The YouTube vids make me salivate!
We have some appearing in the UK that look good, but unfortunately, many are halal, so no pork ribs

I like to keep it simple like they do in Argentina. Just salt and charcoal is all that's needed.

My fav is chicken thighs with the skin on and lamb chops. I like the chops medium rare.

You can get decent BBQ with gas, but you just can't beat charcoal for flavour.

I'm too ill to smoke a brisket for 18+ hours, so I'll just visit the smokehouses and stuff my face.

What do you like to flame grill?

At our current place we only have a small garden, so I exclusively use a 57cm Weber. I have got a dual fuel bbq in storage ready for when we move next year. Triple gas burner one side, charcoal the other. Looking forward to using it I must say

Coz it's the wife and kids, we generally have sausages, burgers, lamb, pork belly slices, chicken plus grilled corn on the cob ftw!

Went to a place in Kings Lynn called The Rib Cage, was amazing and yes they do ribs!

At home just me and the wife so seems a lot of effort to BBQ stuff, think we managed 2 this year. My parents always did a good BBQ but this summer decided to get rid of it and get a pizza oven instead as they get more use of it. The pizzas are really nice but maybe its time I started looking at care homes

I've thought about investing in a pizza oven, but I've seen pros making killer pizzas in a regular oven. You just need a steel plate to get the base crisp.

I'm too il to BBQ now. I fired some chicken thighs on one of my barbeques recently. You can't beat it. You need the charcoal flames for flavour.

I could have deep fried them in oil with seasoning and cornflour, but its not the same.

There's something about that charcoal.

What I really want is a fancy pellet smoker, I don't think I'll ever retire my Weber kettle but being disabled it can be a ball ache, especially when we've got people over.

Hi ya'all

hows y'aaal doing today ?

I like my brisket , smoked in texas style wood over a texas bbq

I'm not a huge brisket fan, much prefer a rib either beef short rib or pork breast, but also like a chicken thigh for simplicity, with a bit of rub and then whacking some bbq sauce on and going over flame for a few minutes at the end.

I've got a Masterbuilt Gravity 600 and Kamado Big Joe with long cooks going in the Masterbuilt. Also got an Ooni Koda 16 on the side which I use if I want to quickly sear or finish something off, not actually cooked a pizza on it for a long time.

Brisket for sure, although I can't be bothered to do it myself, so when the weather starts getting warm I patiently wait until I get invited to a BBQ :D

Either that or visit a smokehouse.

In the order of favourites....

Japanese
Korean
Texan

Somewhere at the bottom lies British BBQ.
Korean BBQ is excellent to be fair. I'd like to go somewhere to have that again. I went to a place in London a couple years ago, though I can't remember the name.

In the summer, we have done the occasional BBQ in the garden of random stuff, so the British BBQ isn't too bad... :D I'm biased as it's my own.

If it’s my own then it’s just Korean on a bigger scale lol. But when it’s someone else….my expectation is basically a sausage in a bap…which isn’t that much different than what I can do in the airfryer. If I’m lucky there’s a good burger but I doubt it’s homemade ground mince. For salad I am expecting a potato salad and then lettuce, tomato salad on the side with NO dressing…WTF is that about?

Chicken wings…rarer than hens teeth
Corn? May beeeee
You can forget any ribs

You can definitely count on some kind of vegan burgers on the go cooked on the side inside a pan though.

Only had KBBQ twice (whilst in SK) - but I really liked that they had (pork) cuts that I would never have tried elsewhere.

I did a 4kg rack of ribs in my weber a couple months ago. Got another rack sitting in the freezer ... sooon my pretties...

Low and slow - 6 hours, with applewood chunks for smoke as well. A bit of apple juice during the foil wrapped stage, and bbq sauce to finish off. Now I'm hungry.
