I have to install a new GPU and CPU waterblock tomorrow and was thinking what the best way is to remove the compound? I'm currently thinking nail varnish remover and some cloth,

Thanks
Freddie :)

I am a reviewer (as you well know freddie :P) and I've never used anything but nail varnish remover, I must have used it to remove and re-apply TIM at least 20 times on this CPU and it hasn't done any harm! Just give it a dry wipe over when your done!

A big bottle of cd cleaner that contains isopropyl alcohol. Bought it years ago and used it many times.

Ive had a pot of Akasa Tim Cleaner for years, contains citrus so smells like oranges!
I tend to use earbuds dipped in the stuff.

I use my face.

But seriously i use these.
