basically i'd like another monitor next to my current one.

one of the things i'd like to be able to do is say have steam open on 1 screen playing games and on the other screen have the web open for say like walkthroughs on the web.

Is this possible and how do you do it , also is it easy to switch between screens?

Press windows key and P, then go along to Extend then you drag it across. Just plug the other monitor into your gfx card, you can set the resolution in the Control Panel
