How do you use Norton Ghost?

hey, i want to put all of my files from my old hard drive to my new one. i have heard that Norton Ghost allows you to do this. i now have the program and i dont know how i would do it. if anyone has any tips on how to do it i will be very greatfull thanks

Plug the new HD into the machine and make sure it is seen by the BIOS. I have always had Ghost on a floppy and booted from it, then copied (cloned) from the old hard drive to the new one.

If you have no use for the old drive, then remove it and then boot from the new cloned Hard Drive.

the free trial of acronis true image home 2010 does this too and there is a windows based wizard to make things simple.

Yes that is true and it is simple to use. Ghost is even simpler though and I have used it many times and the OP did ask saying he had Ghost.
