Just wondering if anyone does anything interesting in their free time. I feel I need to start doing something else as I waste evenings after work at home watching TV or browsing forums.

I generally get a game of badminton and 1 or 2 games of 5-a-side football each week, and I get nights out in town at the weekend with the work guys. But I just I feel something else. For one to keep me busier during the week and secondly to get a second social group, the only one I have is work mates (who I do like, I'd just like to know a few people outside of work too).

So what interesting way do you occupy your time? Hopefully I'll get a few ideas.

Visiting the girlfriend
Going to the cinema
Going out for a drink
Arguing with people on the internet
Buying things I dont need from Ebay
Polishing the car
Playing games

Whatever falls into place at the time. For example, if friends ask me to do something with them I do that, if not and I am with family, then something with them. If none of those 2, then PC, movies, music, exercise etc.

Mates house playing the xbox 360 :D
Rugby training
Fishing
Reading
Watching/reviewing/reading about NFL
Commuting from to-from work
Clubbing
Here
Bored
Bed
Eating
Laptop
Xbox 360
Guitar

Probably more.

Hmm im sorta in the same position as you, I'm at a bit of a loose end now I'm back from uni.

Work 7am-2pm (or 4pm) and then get home, fall asleep or just browse the forums. Then end up watching TV or playing on the 360 till 11pm.

Occasionally I'll go jogging with my mum (5km x 3 nights a week)

Go to sleep and start the cycle again.

Going to join the gym soon so that should fill a bit of time.

Where?

Id love to play this.

EDIT: Sorry, excitement caused double post.

I play for staffordshire surge.

There are 2 teams in our leage near Leeds:
Yorkshire Rams
South Yorkshire Mustanges

Our team isn't too serious and as long as you turn up and train you should get a game, other temas are are far more picky though. Have a look at http://www.bafl.org.uk/

What free time? :(

You're so lucky to not have any free time!

I really wish I didn't have any free time because I'm a lazy [person] with way too much at the moment and the only way I am going to break the trend is to force myself to work all the time.

I think I have a one track mind whereby I can only ever spend all my time doing naf all or spend all my time working so if I can somehow flick the switch to the working parameter I can jumpstart myself into a very productive mode. Anyone know how I can do it? I was thinking a slow process of more and more work each day.
