How does BMW's DSC fair in the snow/ice?

Wider tyres = bigger footprint = more icy, slushy, sliperly snow compacted underneath = no grip.

Thin tyres cut through to the grippy stuff beneath.

the logic behind it is, if youre driving in very heavy rain/slush/snow in big wide tyres, the weight of the is more spread (ie less pressure on ground), the ground is very wet, the car therefore has a much higher tendancy to ride up onto that water (aquaplane) due to its weight being spread out so much more

... then the opposite happens on a narrow tyre. more concentrated, less water under the tyres for the car to aqua plane on.

Could create problems when your hammering it down the motorway, reach for the air con button and miss.

did you see the number of buttons that man had? that is a fear he lived with every day, but i will remind you that Knight Rider was a shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist. Michael Knight, a young loner on a crusade to champion the cause of the innocent, the helpless, the powerless, in a world of criminals who operate above the law.

he was therefore not an ordinary man like you or I, he therefore had incar eletrickery that allowed him to defy physics.... we dont!
