How does it work ?

Hi everyone...

sorry for the noobish question but at the moment i have a IDE HD and i was thinking of getting a new (Bigger) SATA HD but i have heard you need a floppy disk etc to install a SATA HD.. could someone clarify this for me ?

Thanks for the quick reply... so if i have XP SP2 i won't need a floppy disk ?

ps. i don't actually have a floppy drive.. so i am really hoping i don't need one
