Hey, I'm building a gaming/graphic work PC and I was wondering if I could get some pointers? I have this build currently, I need to know if it's all compatible and what changes need to be made regarding that. Also if there is anything particularly bad/overpriced there could I get some alternatives? Is there anything missing?

Thanks

If you want to use this for gaming aswell, than that graphics card will not do you very good at high res. Maybe drop the cpu down to a i7 and bump up the graphics card?

I can go up to about £1,200 at a push. But I'd prefer to stay under £1,100.

The CPU I have is cheaper than the i7s this week so it's better to keep that.

Would it not be best to go for an Nvidia card for CUDA if he's doing graphics work as well?

What software are you using OP?

ya, i assumed that as op specced a 7750 that his video software doesnt use cuda. but i may be wrong.

Thank you, I think I'll take this build.

as above, just make sure your video editing software doesnt take advantage of cuda. in which case getting an nvidia card would be better

Photoshop, illustrator, artrage, maya, ect

It's a games design course.

you'd benefit from getting an nvidia card then.
