How does Rma work?

If I tell a retailer my mobo stopped working after I did a bios update (did everything the correct way) will that effect me taking it them back as I've only had it just over a month. ?

depends on the retailer tbh, some will, some wont, as you have technically modified it, i know i know its a bios, and should be upgradeable, but some companies can be like this, have a look and see if you can find any terms for rma

What motherboard are you using?

Some have a dual BIOS which you can revert to the older one to get you going again.

I took it back to the retailer in the end it was irrelevant as I stupidly bent some of the cpu socket pins when taking it out grrr so now it has to go back to msi and will cost me 25 quid and a month with no gaming pc

so angry with myself
