How does something come out of nothing?

A big bang, from nothing!... as my very christian friend used to say. (the same person who's mum belives we have only been here for 6,000 years. bless.)

No. How a neuron works is basically exactly the same as how an electrical circuit works. Charge differences. The electrons are always there, but because there's a potential difference they "flow" between the atoms. It's just that instead of a cathode/electrode/anode battery or whatever the charge difference is created by sodium/potassium pumps.

Besides, everybody knows that there's only one electron ;)

Always ask questions. Never presume to know the answer.

Except it's perpendicular to a regular circuit. Current flows around a circuit (sort of) and shuttles in an out of neurons along their length like a mexican wave!

You don't create any electrons when you think, they are always there. When you are not thinking they get stored in a battery inside your brain. Sometimes this battery runs flat so you don't have enough electrons to think properly. When did you last change your brain battery OP?

I thought the idea that the idea that the universe was expanding was widely believed? I'm by no means an expert but from various readings and documentaries provided proof.
