Windows 7 RC1 is nice to use but TBH I can still use DX11 in Vista so I see no point to upgrade ATM!!

also gonna run 2 HDDS one for win 7 and one for xp just incase win 7 won't play some of my classic games that xp plays fine

I believe its the same as vista where you can right click the game and run in compatibility mode

right click shortcut, properties, compatiibility tab, run in compat mode for xp/vista/whatever
