I have this RAM http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-058-GL and it appears that one of the RAM sticks is failing as it is starting to fail memtest with errors.
This is the faulty RAM stick tested in my Asus P5B Deluxe Wifi motherboard, 800MHz 4-4-4-12 2.1V:
This is the same faulty RAM stick tested in an Asus P5K motherboard in my other PC, 800MHz 4-4-4-12 2.1V:
I've even tried setting looser RAM timings and testing the voltage from 1.9v to 2.3v and I still get errors.
As you can see, I get errors in both motherboards with the same RAM stick. I also tested some corsair RAM I had in my other PC on both motherboards and no errors were detected, so it seems this is most likely a a faulty RAM module.
I've tested the other GeIL RAM module(which I think is OK) and no errors were detected yet, but I'm going to RMA the whole set to OCUK.
I just want to make sure 100% it is a fault with the RAM before OCUK test it. I don't want to be charged if they test it as not faulty, but I'm pretty sure it is.
What do you folks think?
