This is the cheapest conroe spec i can come up with.

Will it be ok for gaming?

Either way, I would get a 3rd party HSF - Something like the Ninja, if it will fit in that case.

Looks fine to me, but why spend so much on a graphics card when you'll be getting your x1900xtx back soon?

Also, I'd get the OEM 6300 and an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro.

Well i want to be able to game whilst im waiting for my xtx back. Plus then the 7600 can go into the 939 system to sell as a whole.

Ok, changed the cpu to the oem version, and the cooler the the freezer. So now we got this

See, I do know what I'm talking about

. I think the only difference is the 1 year warranty compared to the 3 year warranty of the Retail version.

Don't be expecting a massive overclock from the motherboard though - it has BIOS issues that don't allow the FSB above 300 I think - although these may be fixed with subsequent BIOS releases.

Yeah it may be fixed in futre releases, but if im going conroe its the only choice really as the other baords are just to expensive at the moment.
