How does your car Pull!

Try to get hold of a G-meter Mark, that way you'll know for sure, going by the speedo isn't really accurate.

Did 2 runs last weekend in my Rover, got 7.36 and 7.58 using a G-meter :)

Did a 10.99 in my brother's 214sli and 18.6 in my other brother's 1.8D escort van :D

Andy, is the 214 a SPi? I did a 10.5 in my 214.

220 is 9 ish. Not sure, will try and get the G-Meter off my mate.

Yeah spi, but his clutch is on the way out (judders) so i didn't want to give it major stick..

Thought the 220 was 8.6 ish?

Looking at that video, it was more around 8 seconds.

At 8 seconds its doing 70 on the speedo, so thats 65 - 67 in real life, if you look the fair test is the point it hits 63mph on the speedo because i know that gps correct for a real 60mph speed, thats a lot less than 8 seconds its around 7.

Quickly went out on a local disused airfield and did some short movies as I couldnt be bothered to rummage around for the G Tech. Appologies for the rubbish quality as it was done on my phone which was cellotaped to the steering cowling and excuse the fingers on the 2nd movie :D .

1st was a launch from standstill but the airfield surface was a bit rubbish for decent grip so got loads of wheel spin
2nd was a 30mph onwards
3rd was a 70mph onwards

Only thing I've ever timed in the Elise was 40-70, with a passenger doing the timing on a sweltering hot day. Think it came back at 3.1s which I thought wasn't too shabby.
A 120hp Elise?
