How does your persona change on the forum?

Makes me far more willing to get involved in conversations with complete randomers, but I do like to think that I'd say exactly the same things that I say on the Net in person if I felt "comfortable" with the people I was talking to.

I used to have a different persona on this forum. You know, the fancy watch and tailored suit wearing aristocrat gentleman. Some people took it all a bit too serious though so I jacked it in.

I would say I'm more dark humored and argumentative in real life than I am on the forums. Other than that my personality and character are the same more or less.

I argue like a madman about stuff I wouldn't get so embrangled in in real life.

Hell yeah. Some of the stuff I end up supporting an argument over I don't even agree with myself. I get tugged in by someone's crappy attitude so I disagree with them regardless of my true feelings.

Weird.

I can't imagine a Tank, without a slightly camp (and worryingly sexualised teddy bear oriented) sense of humour :o

I blend into the background here, I am happy to just read along as I just don't think my opinion is ever that strong to be noted really. In social situations I'm very open and extrovert, I speak easily and I don't get intimidated. A good ripping session is always on the menu as well for me, I don't take all that much seriously in reality, so I certainly won't on here. Hm, I don't mean for that to be snotty or offensive though!

More provocative, dismissive and negative. Far more defensive too while in real life I'm often thinking ''whatever'' or ''**** it, don't care'' about stuff.

Being with my best mates comes a little close to how I am on the forums, but still not to the same extent as here.
Being at work, or with any people I don't really know well I'm erm, kind of extremely cautious and polite and keep my opinions to myself generally and act friendly even if I detest someone.
When face to face I tend to think a lot more about what I'm saying too, unlike here where I often post what first springs to mind without thinking.
