How drunk have you been recently?

got blasted last night, straight from work no dinner.

on the way home some buckeejit threw an egg at me, which surprisingly bounced me off and smashed on the ground.

woke up this morning still in work gear.

I don't really drink very much these days, nothing like I used to until pretty recently. I got quite drunk a few weeks ago but nothing dramatic happened.

I quite like it actually. Plus I'm dirt poor at the moment so it's for the best even if it's just for money, but I do feel better for it.

Not been madly drunk for about 1.5 years when I got plastered and broke my leg :D Kind of taught me a lesson :)

got drunk with work mates on thursday. Ended up kissing a colleague on her doorstep. She lives less than 10 yards from the office and we are open 24/7 so i am sure someone would have seen :(

Surely that's far from anything to be ashamed of :D

Well i spoke to her Friday and she said i was the perfect gentleman :D I just remember walking back with my arm around her holding her hand then a quick smooch on the door step.

I just don't like getting involved with people from work, if you split up gets messy.

(EDIT, i made about 4 edits to the original post as originally i had the word work in about 5 times)

Last time I got drunk would have been about 5-6 years ago.

I barely touch alcohol, most drinks containing it taste utterly nasty.

I also don't see the point in paying to make myself feel ill. I've never understood the point of drinking so that I can't remember what I did the night before.

Mates wedding a few weeks back, free bar, old friends reunited = Legless. Unfortunately not quite as legless as the missus whom I had to look after, whilst everyone elses missus was looking after their partners - Not happy!

Absolutely. I've also never seen the point of having the sole intention of getting drunk. So many of my friends when asked what they plan to do this weekend reply "Going out and getting hammered".. Why aim to get hammered? What's wrong with going out and meeting friends, having a dance, socialising, and getting a bit drunk as a byproduct?

Last year. I get to the happy/slightly tipsy stage and just keep myself topped up. No hangover, and remember everything :D
Except for that weird time when I only had 2 pints but don't remember much of the night. (There was friends around to tell me that I only had 2 pints :S )

I never really get 'wasted' I can't be blind drunk cause I just throw up before I'm anywhere near that stage and then I'm straight back to sobriety. Haven't up chucked in a long time though. I always drink enough to get merry, and spark up random conversations with people outside (I am a smoker). But these are like brief conversations yet these people somehow manage to find me on facebook from me telling what my first name is? Who actually goes home after a night out and adds someone on facebook? It is shocking.

Not at all . I thought it'd be a great idea to go to my mates party by driving there today, he had 2 crates of beer and a bottle of whiskey, and I couldn't drink any of that :(. I'll never go to a party by car any more, always cycle or use pub transport, hate not being able to drink, I'm the type of guy who doesn't enjoy himself at all without having a few drinks, too shy/silent/etc... Haven't had a beer or any other alcoholic drink for over 3 weeks now I think :(.

I am quite drunk at the moment, just came back from a night on the town with a few friends and staggered from the nightclub, the most severe hangover i get is a headache for a few hours in the morning then i am right as rain, eating a sandwich and a can of coke at the moment i love being able to get drunk yet control my self :D

I can drink any amount (30-40 units) and I never throw up or feel hungover. Is that unusual? It is probably because I have built up a tolerance to alcohol I suppose.

Roughly a quarter of people never experience hangovers in their lives, so no it's not that weird. It's certainly not healthy to drink 30–40 units though!

I've wondered what it's like to have a hangover... or forget things because of drunkeness...

Maybe I just don't drink enough. I sure as heck don't have a tolerance to it.

i rarely get a hangover but i do often forget things, i have a recollection similar to the smack my bitch up video but it slowly comes back over 2 or 3 days and there are always big gaps!

I don't drink much and when I do it's never to get drunk. The last time I was drunk was my boyfriends work Christmas meal, the waiter kept topping up my glass with a very nice Riesling that didn't taste alcoholic at all. I woke up after 3 hours sleep with not a hangover but flu :(. Totally irrational, but I blame the alcohol for that one.

I rarely get headaches and have never suffered memory loss, but a heavy night of drinking destroys my guts. I (rather stupidly) had two bottles of wine and a few pints recently in the space of a few hours - I couldn't eat or drink without vomiting for 24 hours afterwards.

On the general topic of drinking to get hammered: http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2009/apr/04/alcoholics-nhs

No number of best nights out EVER are worth that.

not so long ago at a work do. i either got kicked out or threw out of the club, they dont know what happened to me either. last thing a remember was lying outside throwing up on the ground then getting into the car.... god knows how i phoned my mum to pick me up.

Yep, spot on.

I can go out and have a fantastic time and not touch a drop of alcohol. :)
