How easy is it to change your sleeping patterns?

Well, I'm not avoiding the gym, I've been going 3 times a week, and part of the reason of wanting to get up early is so I can get to the gym before work.
What i was saying is that when I go to the gym in the evening, it messes up my sleep that night and I feel really bad the next day...

So bite the bullet and get up early and go before work!

If you had a flight to catch at 5am you'd be up, wouldn't you?
 
As many have stated: No electronic device screen hot an hour or more before bed, read a book and drink Horlicks.

Works a charm for me.
 
I'm in the same position, i just cant get up any earlier than 7, ive tried, all sorts, it doesn't matter when i go to bde, the earlier i go to bed the longer i lie awake or if i do sleep the longer i sleep for.

At the moment I've started putting my phone on the other side of the room - I have to get up to turn it off.
I still automatically turn it off then get back into bed, but I got up again at 6:45 (it was set for 6:00). So there's a gradual improvement. I've been avoiding games etc after about 9PM and it seems to help me drop off too.
