i use my ssd for my os everything else goes to another drive, apart from a few games! When i have to use an image file for recovery purposes or a refresh, it sure is quick to do.

Glad it all went ok. Best thing to do is make sure the boot drive is plugged into SATA port 0. Then in Bios settings make sure that port is set as the 1st port. This will save problems in future if you have to reset the BIOS for any reason. Although it should still boot from the old drive if it sees that first.

saying its ok, isnt 100% going right

every now and then, it wont boot, ive had to disconnect one of my (non capable booting) drives and the restart, it boots, and then i shut down and then connect it and it boots, no chance so far in connecting my old "c" drive, my bios is acting weird, i try to say "only boot from my new ssd" but it still hangs, ive tried to turn off all other options of looking at other boot options, scarey moment, said there was no boot drive available, my new ssd was plugged it but for a while it wasn't recognized, i did swap about the cables trying to make it port 0, didn't work, its port 6 and looks like it'll stay that way as it boots
