how far can I push my q6600 ?

basically not ready for an upgrade yet due to $$$

picked up a q6600 to do me in the mean time. just wondering how far you guys reckon it will go! it will be paired with an asus p5g41t-m lx, 8gb kingston 1333, antec kuhler 620 for cooling. also will my gfx bottleneck it ? (engts450 top) thanks in advance !

remeber the gpu is oc aswell ...

core clock -1024
shader clock -2000
memory clock - 2100
core voltage - 1200

you know any basic settings for say 3.2 ghz ? i would be happy with that

using the auto oc feature on the motherboard it fails to boot into windows anything above a 10% oc :S HELP! lol

nb voltage
vtt voltage
cpu vcore
auto PSI

above that is where you select either auto manual or oc profile I assume I should set this to manual

just for gaming tbh I had my e5700 @ 3.6 Ghz and the q66 is at 2.75Ghz but in MW3 the frame rate isnt as good on the q66 as it was on the e57 :\ I think 3Ghz should do it so ill try what NeverWinter suggests and get back

when you set the cpu frequency to 333 the dram is locked to either auto,1000 or 1333 :\ cant figure out how to unlock them from each other

ok so now after all this messing about even when I am using the oc profile of 10 or 15 % it still shows 2.4Ghz in system info :S and core temp... confused

tbh I will be happy with around 3.0Ghz, I know the mobo is terrible for oc but if theres a will theres a way
