How far to push a 920 D0 under water

In anticipation of an X58 hex core (when I find one cheap enough!) I am putting WC kit in place and I have a PA 120.3 to go with a new Phobya G-Changer 240 Ver. 1.2 and EK Supreme LTX CPU Waterblock - Nickel Plexi.

I plan to max out my 920 D0 and this is just for CPU so I am wondering how far I should expect to push my chip with this loop? Don't care about longevity really ... as long as I don't blow it up lol :p

I got 5 of these for the rads: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FG-000-XI

Just keep an eye out for temps. Water will allow higher voltages of course but it really does depend on the chip.

Your bclk is likely to exceed 220 if you're after those clocks. Most boards don't reach higher than 220 bclk iirc.

I can push mine at 4.3 GHz and 1.38vcore - temps under water 68-70 C ish.
For higher clocks it needs 1.42v so IMO this is too high for i7 chips if using 24/7.

Max I can do is 4.5 GHz as it doesn't overclocks higher.

OK ... got the stuff fitted and testing now:

Idle .. was 39c last night. My room temp is showing as 21C right now as well.

Prime 95 (I stopped it then started is again as I decided to start posting results) .. most important thing for me right now is the delta. I think I may reseat the block and put my 'better' pump in with more head and see what happens. Got to 82c last night after an hour to so ..

I hit 4.2 within the first hour of getting this CPU 2 years ago and did not try for higher ... after the above quick WC test I put 1.55v on the CPU and upped VDimm to 1.7 and loosened the timings then I went for it. Could not boot above 4.3 GHZ and only got into windows fully with 202 BCLK  ... so I need to find out if its RAM, Board or CPU now that's at its limit as I just don't believe that my rock solid stable 4.2GHz is within 1% of the max! The BIOS settings are below in case anyone cares to suggest the path to more Hz with this rig :D ... back on the air cooler now as I need a few bits to finish the WC properly but in between will see how high I can go with the loud fans on the cooler.
