Having set up my new shiny i7 rig (:D) and o/c'd it to 4.1GHz (x21 multiplier, bclk 196), CoreTemp and CPU-Z seem to be having a mild disagreement about how fast it is:

I'm inclined to agree with CPU-Z since not only is it agreeing with BIOS, it's telling me what I want to hear :D

Spec is i7 920 D0, X58A-UD7, 6GB PC31440, H50-2

Thoughts?

Hmm, that's odd. It was showing it when I was stability testing and is showing it again now
Showing as 1.264V, anyway. I believe the BIOS value is 1.35V :/

Nice overclock btw

Thanks :D
Annoyingly, I could go faster if I wasn't temperature-limited :( I'm tempted to properly watercool, but on a budget.. 5-10 litres of water, central heating pump @ ~17l/min, waterblock. It's enough water that I wouldn't need a radiator/fans, it'd take so long to warm up it'd barely be above room temperature :)
