21 here and i'm a classically trained musician. I think I can hear them all but from 19Khz up the pitches don't sound as high to me or is that how the frequency is meant to sound? I'm using a Plantronics headset by the way.

I heard up to 18KHz. 19K upwards certainly made noise when played through my speakers but it was a lower tone than I heard at 18k

Please remember, speakers distort the sound so what you hear is most likely not the true frequency.

Using DT770 my ears detect top end at 16khz & bass extends to the 20hz sine wave.

Same headphones here and I couldn't hear anything past 16k too.

i could only hear up to 18khz. I'm 23 and a classically trained musician, began playing the violin at 3 years old and have had perfect pitch my entire life.

I'm thinking my crappy onboard sound is to blame or perhaps my sennheiser HD205 cans. i certainly hope so! Or it could be all those raves I attended in highschool. A lotta watts are required for a 40,000 person party

Not sure if that test is accurate but...I could hear them all through headphones and speakers, without trying though and with normal room ambient noise I can here all low frequencies and up to 20KHz.

You both hearing digital re-sampling effects that I mentioned in my post. Many others likely are too but may not realise it

20hz to 21khz, 22khz with it turned up loud, although it's hardly a comfortable frequency. That's through a delta 1010lt/crappy 70's amp/HD650's. It's not remotely conclusive though, obviously.

Edit; if I generate a 21/22khz tone in soundforge it's much clearer. The test is flawed.

lol 40 -50Hz nearly took my windows out

im 27 and can hear 20hz to 16khz
my wife is older than me and can hear 20hz to 17khz

pc hooked up to home theater amp at normal listening volume

there is a website that has a low hz tone generator ill see if i can find it

i couldnt hear it past 14000 hz.....i dont have hearing problems at all.
but this laptop isnt the best
