30hz-17Khz, I can hear higher but my speakers wont go any lower or higher, if I wack them up I hear something at 20Hz but I dont think it actually is 20Hz as it sounds like a washing machine.

20Hz to 19KHz

I was suprised I couldnt hear higher, I will try my headphones later.

Also I cranked up the volume to try to hear 20 to 21K and someone messaged me on xfire I just pooped myself!

At my school's open day we had a speaker and were playing with frequencies, all the parents were amazed when their kids could hear things that they couldn't.

15hz - 22khz

Already knew I had good hearing though infact my hearing does go above 22khz (Had ears tested awhile back at a factory I worked at), annoyingly I can usually hear most transformers when powered on including phone chargers, on some mobiles I can hear when the backlight is in use lol

Have to sleep with PC on or some other background "white noise" otherwise I start detecting things like watches, clocks etc even if there halfway across the room and it keeps me awake.

My parents dont believe me when I can hear things they could not, some months back I could hear the TV but they could not, well weird.

Try the silent ringtone. Older people are not supposed to be able to hear it. I know for a fact my parents can't hear it but they just think i'm messing about with them and not playing anything. I sent it to dad's phone and he always puts it on to wind me up. The other week I heard it from my room upstairs and had to see what the noise was, when I got downstairs I realised he had left his phone on the coffee table with the silent ringtone playing just to test if I could hear it :D

Well, those of you using onboard sound - I've just tested this sound file on generic RealTek High Definition built in and could hear sound in my headphones between 30Hz to 15k. 20Hz was a silence. Replugged headphones to external Native Intruments USB sound box and voila - 20Hz to 16kHz clearly there. I suspect 16k is a cut off for my headphones, even if manufacturer claims 5Hz to 22kHz.

Please remember, speakers distort the sound so what you hear is most likely not the true frequency.
Yep, many speaker will exceed xmax at 20hz unless the volume is really low. If anything this test is more a test of your soundsystem than your ears...
