I was plugging in a usb device into my pc then all of a sudden a huge burst of static came from the speakers and my pc crashed.
Restarted the pc and my creative titanium hd soundcard is no longer detected, nothing in device manager and when I load the soundcard software I get the not detected message.
Seems my card is bricked, anyone tried dealing with creative support lately and got good service? I read online their support is bad, I'm hoping to get a warranty replacement from them.
Luckily I have a backup asus xonar ds which I will just keep using if I can't get anything out of creative.
