How Hard are You?

The few violent confrontations i've been in i've managed by kicking soneone in the nuts and running as fast as I can. I'm about as useful in a fight as a knitted tea cozy. A wet one.

I don't know about other dojos but mine has the martial art and various advertising/posters on every wall so you can't "not" see it!

Kick Boxing was exactly the same as well.

As i was just typing "I've never been in a situation where I would need to"

Though I remembered, it was like 2/3 years ago now when I was at school; was sticking up for my mate just saying a few words to this guy (A). We started walking away, while this guy (B) who only just turned up thought I was talking to him.. He ran after me and pretty much jump kicked me down to the floor. Got ontop of me and punched me in the face while he pinned my other hand down to the floor. Now it didn't hurt much though I wasn't really in the position to fight back. I also knew for a fact he is bigger and a lot stronger than me.... He walked off, I walked off..

I try avoid all violence and do so pretty well. I wouldn't say I'm soft but sometimes I will just 'take it' to avoid anything else.

Firstly I was about 12 lol. Secondly it was a bricked out back room at a leisure centre, with a few mats on the floor lol

Being an x police officer I like to think can hold my own and have had to in the past. I prefer the quiet life tho and rather walk away unless work related. Been stabbed 3 times shot once still standing :).

mediterrenean and suffer from napoleon syndrome, oh I also have a really bad temper, this is possibly some of the worst combinations short of schizophrenia (however you spell that), I'm finding I'm getting into fights almost every week but none of them my fault or that I provoke them, I just have a very short tolerance for lack of respect towards me or my woman.

The keys to fighting is nothing to do with size, it's how brave and confident you are and it also helps if you have a high pain tolerance and literally don't care if you're going to get hurt or not. I've been punched many times, pushed , even stabbed and I still have yet to meet any one who's made me flinch or move after a blow/hit. My last big fight the guy actually head butt me and punched me before I even realise what he did, maybe I'm slow but I just didn't feel anything, this guy was a ex con thou so he did know how to fight.

COME AT ME BRO

This is me. Fortunately or unfortunately. Well at least it used to be. I still have the temper in me, but it rarely comes out, however I now live in a place where its rare to bump into an idiot, or be provoked into a situation. Everyone is more laid back, and everyone smiles and says hello. It's really what I needed.

I'm also pretty amazed that Ive never been arrested or put in jail. I've had too many fights to ever remember. Was supsended from school twice for fighting.. Even when the police have been called, i calm quickly and have talked my way out of arrest. My last fight could have easily ended my life, since the I sent someone into intensive care with a shattered cheek bone and fractured skull cos he was KTFO on the way down he fractured his skull on landing. I also broke my hand in the process and this was all over a parking space argument. He did key my car though, so it was justified, and when the police came to the scene. The cop sided with me and said it was a case of self defence, and I wasn't even arrested. (gotta love US law, cos it was the worst 10mins of my life) Truth in the matter was this was a wake up call to me.. The keying of the car is what saved me, cos the guy had already stepped across the line and I was already in the red mist mode. Since I'm happily married with kids, I don't wanna ever get arrested!!!! So I hope I never ever get into another fight again.. Though I appreciate that it's gonna take some going to stay calm and walk away. I think I can do it though.

I would say that is soft, you shouldn't need to take anything, their is a reason why we have laws and human rights and such.

If someone attacks you for no reason what so ever and your overpowered, the first thing you should do is get yourself to safety or defend yourself, then phone the police.

Where I live it's full of idiots who have a big mouth or love to hit on your girlfriend while you're standing next to her or if you go the bathroom, it's not just the men also, women do it as well. I don't know what's wrong with these people. They must be thick.
