How high can you hear?

I know I'm being boring but this is not a proper hearing test.
Some of you may have much better hearing than you think under proper test conditions, or worse.

I've been aware of ringing in my ears, which I guess is tinnitus, for some time. Which sort of explains my bad test result, been meaning to get a professional hearing test at the opticians for ages.

I'm not saying it's 100% accurate, but if somebody's gear has low distortion and covers that frequency and you play back a certain frequency why can it not give you an idea?

I believe if you have fairly good equipment, you can get an idea of where you are, again I'm not saying this is a fully accurate test. I've taken quite a few, and I score pretty similar on all of them. I'm using the Audioquest Nighthawk which has a extended high range with very low distortion and my Chord Dac which has really low noise floor.

Up to and including 15khz. I used to play a lot of drums without ear protection so I have no doubt buggered my hearing. Oh and Im 34

I can hear 14Khz clearly, cannot hear 15 at all. 39 years old.

Edit: with different headphones I can hear 15Khz but no higher.
