850mm, but that is my work desk which is a sort of bench too.

I'm certain my desk at home is considerably lower.

When I bought my current house I inherited a study which had had a desk built into it using a kitchen worktop and cupboards (actually looks ok - definately better than it sounds). However the worktop is far, far too high - about 90cm - and even with the chair in it's highest position I usually end up with pins n' needles in my arms after an hour or two.

I would love to redecorate but at the mo with a young baby I haven't got the cash/time/patience

desk is 670mm, but its waaay too low, as the wheels have bust off (would've been around 720 with the wheels i guess...

i built my own it 700 mm from floor to the top everything is bang on straight and level and dead level witht he mirror above it too. ( the pics make it look all over the place lol) the legs fastened to the wall
