well apart from the shocking photos, you would pull up those metal levers on the side and remove it, if it feels stuck, run the pc for a bit beforehand to warm up and soften the bond.

Ok so I have to pull up the leavers after running it for a while. Are you shocked at the system or the picture quality.

its not the size, its the out of focus, jittery, shaking/ghosting image that bugs me.

I see time and time again, someone posts pictures to help them, but they may as well take a picture of a concrete wall or something.

yer it seems like you just need to pull the metal leavers on the side of the cooler up and give it some force properly, looks like a beast of a system by the way ;P

It looks like a 478 socket, just installed one of those a few days ago

If you look under the metal levers they are hooked onto some plastic retainers. So you need to push down, then pull the metal clip out to the side to unhook it.
