How in the world is this possible

Patience, steady hand, magnifying glass etc.

We have all made Airfix / Tamiya Models in the past I am sure, and there are steps in those that are very fiddly.

I believe I read about this type of modelling some time ago.

i think I remember reading he used hair to manipulate / move pieces and he had to control his breathing as a slight gust and the hole thing will blown away.

the bloke who does them was in the news a few years ago. he makes a lot of money from them. no 3d printer, just carved.

and yeh, steady hand, magnifying glass and talent. though a buzzing fly once put him off and he had to scrap one.

I watched a documentary about the guy a few weeks back, it really is amazing how he does them. I remember something about he puts himself into a trance like state to be able to do them.
