Paddy,

tell me about bike safe? im from chesterfield/clay cross.
So could be interested in learning a bit more helpful stuff.

As for me, not been out on bike since October ish. been sat nice and lovingly warm in a garage with cover on it. Actually started her today whilst having a brew. Purred like a kitten. Needs a bit of a wash and fettle.

Service next month at the new CMC in clay cross. Look forward to some miles on her when weather better. (Fair weather rider here)

I commute on the bike so have been riding on and off with the exception of the snow and ice season. My commute has increased fourfould so I wanted something more upright and bagged an Africa Twin.
Loving it! Still got the ZZR11 but inly until the sunshine comes and I sell it then.

So far in 2011 on the ZX9R

6-pot calipers seized so replaced with 4-pots
Bolt stuck on end can cover so can't remove the can
Discovered brake judder last night

Just getting her ready for 2011 , hopefully get out sooner rather than later.

Performance camshafts fitted , triple clamp , new Ohlins front and rear

Spa , Aragon , Jerez , Almeria , and Portimao for this year at least :cool:

Adopt me? thought I dont know how old you are....

Fitness is getting there, plenty fit enough now to start on the TD's again.
No bike yet, going to make an affort to fix the SV Carbs this weekend so I have at least got something to throw around brands soonish.
Going to start test rides soon!

I know what its like trying to get back to fitness after a few 'offs' in my time as well.

Stick with it and try not to get too frustrated if it doesn't go right the first time out.

2011 is going really well for me, well until about 20 minutes ago...

Clocked up about 1100 miles (work and pleasure) which have been getting increasingly more fun as the weather improves and I've got my direct access booked.

Unfortunately riding home from work tonight I noticed my gear changes getting heavy. Pulling up on my drive the lever is almost impossible to move as I try to find neutral, only then do I realise that my clutch cable is hanging by a thread - literally.

bike washed and chain lubed yesterday, ready for a ride this weekend if all weather is well.
Trying not to commuter too much on my new Pilot Power 2CTs as i dont want to square them off for the summer of knee down goodness
