How learn to aim...(Cs:s)

Krieg 4tw babies!!! :D

Noob get out this thread you no longer qualify for CSS talk :p

Damnit i hate T's campin with those things lol. Then you watch them as they zoom in on every target because they cant hit them without a scope it seems. And it seems strangly accurate when spraying at close range when someone sneaks up behind them with a knife to pwn their nooby ass's :p

^^ No, I hardly ever use the scope (which I find poor on that gun).

It is for the occasional long shot, mainly just how quickly I can empty the clip.
I've found myself doing a bit better with the kreig recently.

It is the accuracy in close spray that means I can get through a few peeps before death. The clip feels longer than the M4 to me, that could just be me though!

CS is full of bunny hoppers, COD4 is better online, plus as said earlier your bullets hit near where your crosshair says they will in COD, not just 'over there' like in CS

Then you shouldn't be playing the agme if you were looking to learn how to aim after 4 years. Although i suspect you wernt posting this because you needed it.

Plus you should try some other games. After CSS most fps are easy as they have more accurate guns doing more damage like RB6 or COD4 or at least Bf2s guns are pritty accurate... expect their snipers in the first few patchs

yes i have cod 4 really nice game its really easy after playing cs:s love those wallbangs ;) but still prefer mixes/matches at cs:s

I hate people that say this crap, fair enough if your a die hard 1.6 fan and actually prefer the game over source, but to say "oh the skills factor is higher" is total crap it's all just practice, if CSS was that much easier than 1.6 then explain why the top 1.6 teams are only as good if not worse than the top source team at CGS?

**

sorry but i have to bring this plain wrongness to light. you cant compare 1.6 skill with source skill.
its like saying why arent the top tennis players good at football then ey.
theyre completely different games. 1.6 being a game that in my opinion requires more skill due to ability to effectively use sound and wallbanging to kill people. and also the smaller and more accurate hitboxes requiring more precise aim.

whereas css is completely different. the recoil patterns are nothing like 1.6 so when swapping over its basically learning a whole new game.
in my personal opinion reading an article on how to aim on css will be all but completely useless due to the randomness of the hitboxes and that aim comes naturally from experience.
my top aim tip: just relax. if youre stressed (which you prob will be cos youll be playing css and some guy you shot in the head 12 times didnt die) then your spray control will be off as your wrist muscles will move differently.

You can't effectively bunny hope in CS anymore??

If you do, you end up standing still?

So erm, wtf you on about?

Probably seen some guy with BH scripts.

Seen some people who can bunny hop excellently though,it's banned in league games ain't it?

its not proper bunnyhopping. in 1.6 you gain no advantage from it. in older versions (1.3 was the best for it) bunnyhopping meant you could move crazily fast around levels.

Is the ED league, get caught and you lose the round i think

You can do it in source as well

. Before i stoped playing i was rank 2 wid the ak on tesside which is one of the most popular serves on css when i was playing and id oubt much as changed my arch enermy was Elton who was rank 1 of the M4 who i used to play against.

years ago i was top 10 on tees2 for a looong time , i was still crap and happily admited it though

tottaly different playing on there 40 players compared to 1 on 1s and 5 on 5 etc.

could kill loads on tees just by having the guts to buy a p90 and run like crazy

yeah... right. Perhaps people have got considerably worse if that is the case as when i used to play it used to be full of qutie a few top clans ther was a guy on there called mmm IQ i think it was who used to get 150 kills a time wth very few deaths. Dont know wether he cheated but he was never banned. I used to play with PETS who were one of the best clans who played on teside. Then i moved to rage who was unfortunetly lead by elton who i ahted but had many friends in there. Then i trippled his score in the teside tournament in dust 2 and he made my life hell after. Then i misteriously got banned for being under 18 and missed my chance to play italy, my favorite map of all time. Ending up coming 3rd instead after that and they did infact lose the italy match to mmm i cant remeber its ame now but they came first. Was a name in the square brackets [name]. meh.

Perhaps you remeber a guy named cobra.

lol teeside was/is weak, when i used to play , top ranked uk server had about the top 12-20 uk players(only on xstats mind but still, way WAY ahead of teeside rankings, WAY), either way, i was top on that. but i got bored, slow tactical tourneys didn't interest me, neither did most clans playing on public servers and using private teamspeak to ghost which i found out playing with 6 different clans very briefly before leaving then eventually giving up. I personally just didn't want my clan people to cheat and tell me where to expect people. theres going for a big score for the sake of a big score, and theres playing for fun. knowing where someone is, if they are coming for you and when they are gonna run around a corner kills any fun for me.

Judging by several past threads on ocuk there are dozens/hundreds of clans who think that is completely fine. which is why i gave up on clans and pretty much on playing, i was just bored.

AS for aiming , it occurs to me if you need a year to learn not how to aim well but to know where people will run where there heads are going to be and to move to perfectly cover the area's heads will be again, its just boring to me. I don't spend hours memorising where heads will be, or EVER follow the same path around maps. Hell purely because most of the so called top players do just that always being in ridiculous places and running at people when they don't expect it is pretty much the best tactic there is.

not really played in , a good 6 months i guess now, but i would assume ghosting is still ridiculous widely done, and the amount of people who wallhack but are very good at avoiding detection is massive also which all makes it so unappealing.

the people who get banned for wallhacking are idiots, they centre their crosshair on someone on the other side of the map follow them the whole way and shoot before they come out of a door. people who have a wallhack but watch them in the corner of the screen acting as if they are doing something else, and wait for them to get close and get them a split second after they come through a door are almost impossible to detect, so they don't often get caught/banned.

out of 6-8 clans i joined over a couple months they all ghosted and half of the guys in each clan wallhacked, of which i suspected only 1/2 of them before joining the clan. its extremely common.

Everyone who looks too good to be true IS to good to be true, but people didn't have balls to start banning those people years ago and now its so common its ridiculous. the most basic cheating though, ghosting, when basically all games have ingame voice chat, the need for teamspeak during a game is simply not there, TS should be on the banned punkbuster list so it can't be used. i can't think of a single reason ingame voice chat, which works perfectly, isn't sufficient, it lets people alive talk to each other, and dead people talk to each other, simple as that.
