This... Your tenancy agreement will make it very clear what the terms of occupancy are. Anything other than that is merely asking people in here how you can get around it; something pretty lame IMO as there are many people who would love the chance to have a property that you would be blocking.

If the OP is really moving out, he should give it up, so it can actually go to somebody who needs it.
